Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Trainee Sales Executive at Zelir Logistics Ltd, located in Ashford. As our second sales hire, you'll play a key part in growing our customer base — with full training provided, this is a great opportunity to build a sales career in the logistics industry from the ground up.
The Sales Executive will be responsible for:
- Researching and identifying prospective customers (importers, exporters, hauliers, and freight forwarders)
- Reaching out to prospects by phone, email, and LinkedIn to open conversations
- Qualifying leads, booking meetings, and joining pitches as you develop
- Preparing quotes and proposals with support from the team
- Keeping the CRM up to date and following up on leads consistently
- Attending occasional industry events and customer visits
Some work from home is acceptable for this role.
Office hours from 9am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday, with the possibility of slight hour changes required in exceptional circumstances.
Qualifications
- Confident, personable communicator — comfortable picking up the phone
- Strong organizational skills and self-motivation
- Resilience and a positive attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in sales, customer service, logistics, or international trade is a plus but not essential.

Pay: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
