Due to our growing business, we have an exciting opportunity for a Balancing Technician / Balancer to join our precision engineering team. Previous balancing experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
This position would ideally suit someone from a manual machining background, such as a Manual Miller or Manual Turner, with a good understanding of engineering principles, accuracy and working to tight tolerances. The successful candidate will be trained to operate our CEMB Balancer and SCHENCK H40V.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate balancing equipment following appropriate training.
- Set up and balance components accurately using the CEMB Balancer and SCHENCK H40V.
- Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings.
- Handle precision-engineered components with care and accuracy.
- Follow job instructions, route cards and established procedures.
- Produce work to the required quality standards and specifications.
- Work closely with the wider machining and production team.
Experience & Skills
Previous balancing experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Full training will be given.
We would particularly welcome applications from Manual Millers, Manual Turners, Manual Machinists or engineers from a similar precision engineering environment.
