Why U Fit Studio?
U Fit Studio changes lives. We help people win with training, nutrition, habits and mindset — no extremes, no quick fixes. We coach the whole person, not just the workout, until members build the skills and confidence to keep their results for life. Our coaches are how it happens.
What’s In It For You
- Earn what you’re worth. From £30,000 base from day one, plus a performance-based bonus tied to member results and retention. Top performers earn more, and your earning potential grows as you do.
- A roster to build and make your own. You’ll look after our existing members and build your roster as we bring new enquiries straight to you – no rent to pay, no cold outreach, no building a following on social media. We generate the leads; you convert them with great consultations and keep them with great coaching.
- A mentor in your corner. Regular dedicated time with a senior coach whose job is helping you hit your targets and grow. Your numbers are their numbers. You will not be short of support.
- Real benefits. 28 days’ annual leave, exclusive of public holidays. Company pension, gym membership, employee discount, uniform and on-site parking provided.
- Keep growing. Ongoing coaching, mentoring and support for approved certifications and courses, with clear progression and increased earning potential as you take on more.
About the Role
This is not a typical personal training role.
This isn't a typical PT role. You'll look after our existing members and grow your roster towards 50–60 as we bring new enquiries to you — owning their results and their long-term journey — coaching across semi-private and large group training. We generate the leads and handle the marketing, so your energy goes into converting enquiries, coaching and building trusted relationships, not chasing clients or selling yourself online.
It's more than running sessions. It's understanding what makes each member tick, adapting your approach, and helping them make lasting changes to their fitness, habits, confidence and mindset. You'll be warm and supportive but also honest and willing to challenge when it helps someone grow — working within our systems while using your judgement for the person in front of you.
What you’ll own
- Deliver high-quality coaching across semi-private and large group training.
- Look after our existing members and grow your roster towards around 50–60 – their progress, engagement and overall experience.
- Take real ownership of member results, consistency and retention.
- Build genuine, trusted, long-term relationships and adapt your coaching style to each personality.
- Support members with training, nutrition, lifestyle habits and behaviour change – and hold them accountable to their goals.
- Ask thoughtful questions, challenge appropriately, and help members raise their standards and their belief in what they’re capable of.
- Track progress, spot challenges early, and adjust your approach to keep members focused on their longer-term goals.
- Plan and prepare thoroughly for sessions, reviews and member conversations.
- Reflect on your own coaching, welcome feedback and keep improving.
- Contribute to a positive, high-performance team – attend team meetings and ongoing training.
Read This Before You Apply
We’d rather be honest now than have you discover on day 90 that this isn’t what you signed up for.
This is a rewarding role, but it’s not a relaxed one. At this scale, systems, structure and self-management matter as much as the coaching itself.
A typical week includes
- A full schedule of semi-private and large group sessions to prepare for and deliver.
- Member reviews, progress tracking and check-ins running in parallel.
- Accountability conversations – including the honest ones – with members who are drifting.
- Keeping records and the member journey up to date.
- Team check-ins, training, and the occasional escalation that needs your attention now, not later.
You’re a coach and you own outcomes. Member results, engagement, consistency and retention all sit with you. Our systems give you time back for coaching, but the accountability is yours.
A few honest truths
Retention is coaching. Real transformation takes time. A member who drifts away after a few months hasn’t hit their goal. The coaches who do best here aren’t the pushiest – their members simply don’t want to leave.
Emotional resilience matters. Across 50–60 members, some will go quiet, some will ignore the plan, some weeks will be hard. The best coaches feel it, reset, and go again – without carrying everyone’s emotions home with them.
It’s performance-based, and you’re never alone. Clear expectations, reviewed regularly, with a senior coach beside you – invested, because your results are their results. Bring the right attitude and keep progressing, and you’ll do well here.
Who Thrives Here – and Who Doesn’tYou’ll thrive if you are
- Hungry for growth and at your best around people with high standards – this team makes you a better coach and a better person, and that’s exactly what you’re looking for.
- Someone who wants to be part of a winning, high-performance team with a shared mission.
- Highly organised, and energised (not overwhelmed) by pace and volume.
- Comfortable with tough, honest conversations – well-timed, caring challenge from a coach the member trusts.
- Able to set boundaries, reset after hard weeks, and ask for help early.
- Genuinely curious about how people think, feel and behave – and willing to be challenged and improve yourself.
This probably isn’t for you if you
- Don’t want to be part of a team and a collective mission.
- See accountability and retention as separate from coaching.
- Prefer an extreme, discipline-at-all-costs approach. Our members want results that fit real life, not a bodybuilding prep.
- Struggle to separate members’ emotions from your own wellbeing.
What We’re Looking For
1. Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification (required).
2. 2–3 years in the fitness industry, with proven client transformations
3. Experience coaching clients in a gym, studio or group training environment, with evidence of helping people achieve meaningful results.
4. A good understanding of nutrition, lifestyle habits and behaviour change – coaching that goes deeper than macro targets and works with the stress, emotions and habits that drive how a person actually eats.
5. Strong written and interpersonal communication, and the organisation to manage many member relationships at once without dropping standards.
6. Confidence leading consultation calls and holding supportive but honest conversations, and comfort working within structured systems while using your own judgement.
7. A team-first mindset. Being a great solo coach matters, but you have to thrive in a team too.
8. Industry-recognised nutrition certification preferred. Experience in life, mindset or personal-development coaching is a plus.

How to Apply
Our process has four stages. By the time you say yes, you’ll know exactly what you’re saying yes to – and so will we.
1. Application. Send your CV and a short video (up to 60 seconds) via WeTransfer to [email protected]. Applications without a video will not be considered.
2. Interview. A conversation about your coaching, your experience and how you think about members.
3. Trial. A working trial so we can see you coach and you can see the studio in action.
4. Alignment call. A final call where we walk through the role day by day, so you know exactly what the job is before you commit.
Your video should answer
Tell us about a member you helped make meaningful progress. What did you notice about them, how did you adapt your coaching, and what did you do when progress became difficult?
