Are you organised, reliable and looking for a hands-on role where accuracy really matters? Allied Pharmacies is recruiting a Pharmacy Warehouse & Dispensing Assistant to join our team at our Skelton Warehouse. You'll play a vital part in supporting our community pharmacies by ensuring medicines and stock are dispensed, picked and packed safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the accurate dispensing of prescriptions in line with company procedures and regulatory standards
- Pick, pack and check orders ready for dispatch to our network of pharmacies
- Receive, unpack and store deliveries, ensuring stock is rotated and correctly located
- Maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised warehouse environment
- Support stock control activities, including regular counts and highlighting discrepancies
- Handle medicines and controlled items with care, following all health, safety and compliance guidelines
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily targets and deadlines
What we're looking for:
- A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
- A methodical, organised approach and the ability to manage your time effectively
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
- The ability to stay calm and productive in a busy, deadline-driven environment
- Basic IT skills and confidence learning new systems
- Previous experience in a warehouse, dispensing or pharmacy setting is welcome, but not essential — full training will be provided
- Reliability, trustworthiness and a willingness to learn
