Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic MSK (Musculoskeletal) Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert physiotherapy services focused on musculoskeletal conditions, helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life. Your expertise will support a diverse patient population, including pediatric and adult clients, through personalized treatment plans rooted in a solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Duties
- Assess patients’ musculoskeletal conditions through comprehensive evaluations, including physical examinations and medical history reviews.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at restoring function, alleviating pain, and promoting overall well-being.
- Deliver hands-on therapy techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and rehabilitation exercises.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, orthopedic specialists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with clinical standards.
Skills
- Proven experience working as an MSK Physiotherapist with a strong foundation in musculoskeletal assessment and treatment.
- Experience in hospital settings is highly desirable to understand complex cases and multidisciplinary workflows.
- Knowledge of pediatric physiotherapy techniques to effectively treat children with musculoskeletal issues.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically across diverse age groups.
- Strong understanding of physiology principles related to musculoskeletal health and injury recovery.
- Familiarity with medical terminology used in clinical documentation and communication.
- Solid knowledge of human anatomy to accurately diagnose conditions and plan effective interventions.
