As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service while also contributing to the overall atmosphere of our salon.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling services, including cutting, colouring, and styling hair to meet client expectations.
- Perform barbering services for male clients, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
- Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application as needed.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalised recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
- Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue.
- Mentor junior stylists and trainees, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster their development.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills when interacting with clients and team members.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role within a salon environment.
- Strong skills in barbering techniques and hair styling methods.
- Previous experience in customer service is essential, with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
- Familiarity with front desk operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience in mentoring or training others is desirable.
