Do you have previous experience in Social Housing? Are you committed to putting the customer at the heart of what you do? We are looking for an enthusiastic Carpenter/Multi experienced in void and tenanted properties to provide high quality work to support our business and its values.
Due to the nature of our works, we welcome applicants who are multi trade and can support repairs in more than one trade.
Our Carpenter/Multi will receive:
- £17.50 - £18.50 per hour (Up to £38,480 annually)
- Fixed 40 hour week
- 20 days holiday a year + BH’s
- Van, Fuel Card & Uniform

The Carpenter/Multi Role:
We have an opportunity for a Carpenter/Multi in our Hampshire area, based from our Poole office. They will need a specialism in Carpentry, but it is key that they can complete a variety of tasks to ensure that repairs/orders can be completed in a single visit.
- One main trade qualification (or time served trades experience) e.g. NVQ 2, NVQ 3, City & Guilds
- Current Health & Safety Training certificates (including, but not limited to, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, Manual Handling & Risk Assessments)
- An understanding and be able to use effectively (after training) equipment and processes which may be reasonably required by the Company
- Recent experience working in social housing
- Experience and a passion for delivering high-quality services to a diverse range of customers
Specific knowledge/experience for this role:
- All carpentry repairs including doors, windows and locks in occupied properties, being respectful of residents belongings and living conditions
- Working in properties housing possible vulnerable adults
- Carrying out risk assessments before proceeding with works, and raising concerns to managers to avoid risk to residents and staff
- Assisting other trades where required and within capability
