Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Dumper Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will operate dump trucks to transport loose materials such as gravel, sand, or debris across construction sites. Your expertise in commercial driving combined with mechanical knowledge will ensure efficient material handling and safe operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of large-scale projects, contributing to timely completion and safety excellence.
Duties
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently to deliver materials to designated locations on construction sites
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety standards
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members to understand daily delivery schedules and site requirements
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during vehicle operation
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly for repairs
Requirements
- Proven experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles
- Strong mechanical knowledge to identify basic vehicle issues and perform routine inspections
- Familiarity with operating excavators or other construction machinery is a plus
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere strictly to safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site personnel
- Current CPCS Card Required

Pay: From £17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50.0 – 60.0 per week
