What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with previous travel industry experience who genuinely enjoys helping customers plan their perfect holiday.
Cruise experience would be highly advantageous, although applicants with strong touring or retail travel backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Passionate about travel and customer service
- Confident speaking to customers face-to-face, by telephone and online
- Motivated, organised and able to work independently
- A strong team player who is happy to support colleagues
- Keen to continue learning and developing product knowledge
- Comfortable working in a busy retail environment
The Role
As a Travel Consultant, responsibilities will include:
- Creating and selling tailor-made holidays, cruises and escorted tours
- Managing customer enquiries from initial enquiry through to departure
- Processing bookings and associated administration
- Handling amendments and resolving customer issues
- Making outbound and welcome-home customer calls
- Identifying opportunities to enhance bookings through concierge services and additional products
- Supporting local marketing and promotional activities
- Maintaining high standards within the store environment
Hours
We are recruiting for:
Full-Time Positions
or
Part-Time Positions (Minimum 3 Days Per Week)
Saturday working will be required on a rota basis.
