Rocon Contractors Ltd is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our growing team.
Established in 1962, Rocon Contractors is a well-respected groundworks and civil engineering contractor delivering projects for local authorities, schools, developers and commercial clients across Hampshire and the surrounding counties. We’re proud to be a contractor on Hampshire County Council’s GEN5-1 Highways Framework and its Landscaping Framework for Schools, as well as delivering works for district and borough councils, including Section 278 highway works, civil engineering and groundworks projects.
The Role
You’ll oversee multiple projects from planning through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standard, while maintaining excellent client relationships.
We’re Looking For
✔ Proven experience in civil engineering, groundworks and highway works
✔ Experience working within live school environments
✔ Strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts, including contract administration, programmes, Early Warning Notices, Compensation Events, change control, risk management and contractual compliance
✔ Ability to manage multiple projects, lead site teams and maintain high standards of health & safety and quality
✔ Confident in building client relationships, identifying new opportunities and supporting the continued growth of the business
