Job Summary
We are seeking an efficient Administration Assistant to support our office operations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining smooth administrative processes, managing correspondence, and providing exceptional support to our team. Duties
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and packages
- Maintain and update filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring easy retrieval of documents
- Assist with data entry tasks using programmes such as Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Google Workspace
- Answer phone calls with professional etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
- Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars for team members
- Perform general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and ordering office supplies
- Support bookkeeping activities by maintaining accurate records of transactions
Experience
- Previous office or administrative experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Familiarity with data entry procedures and clerical practices
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: £12.71 per hour
