An opportunity has arisen to join our well-established team at Georgian House Residential Home. The successful candidate will have some experience in cleaning and take pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring that Georgian House is always clean, hygienic, tidy and welcoming for our residents, staff and visitors. The role also involves assisting with the preparation and serving of breakfast to our residents, as well as providing practical support to ensure the home is kept looking its best
The domestic teams work includes dusting, cleaning, laundry, mopping, making beds, and taking out the rubbish and supporting with deliveries. They are also expected to wash dishes, clean bathrooms and kitchens, wash windows, mirrors and ensure that all equipment is clean and hygienic. Completing all domestic and laundry records accurately. You will also be assisting with serving breakfast to our residents.
We would like staff who are positive, fun, outgoing, caring, person centred and passionate about their work, and can work well independently anCarry out all cleaning duties as directed by the Head Housekeeper to the required Company standards. Cleaning duties can be in any area of the home.
Full Description:
- Ensure that daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in a safe condition. Report any defect to the Home Manager.
- Carry out any other reasonable instructions of the Home Manager.
- To be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of the residents.
- To comply with COSHH regulations

- To ensure the correct use of PPE.
- To follow the correct use of colour code systems within the home
- Carry out other ad hoc duties as requested by the Head Housekeeper or Home Manager.
- To ensure all necessary documentation is completed daily.

- Excellent hourly rates of pay, with annual uplifts, with clear pay bands.
