Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to respond swiftly to various situations. This role involves maintaining a secure environment through surveillance, loss prevention, and effective crowd management. Duties
- Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorised access and ensure only authorised individuals enter the premises
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity and identify potential security threats
- Manage crowd control during events or busy periods, ensuring a safe and orderly environment
- Perform loss prevention activities by identifying suspicious behaviour and preventing theft or damage
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary
- Enforce venue policies and procedures in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify hazards or security breaches
Qualifications
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
- Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is advantageous
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
- First aid certification is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided if required
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly to emergencies
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and manage crowd movement effectively

Pay: £16,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
