Tanvic Group is a well‑established, financially strong, family‑run business with over 50 years of trading. We are looking for a motivated Retail Tyre Fitter to join our team in Corby. This role focuses on passenger car and light van tyre services within a retail workshop environment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven individual with a 'can do' attitude to fill this position.
As a Tyre Technician your main responsibilities are:
- Fit and replace tyres on cars and light vans.
- Carry out puncture repairs in line with BSAU standards.
- Conduct tyre inspections including tread depth, pressure checks and identifying defects.
- Wheel balancing and alignment assistance (training provided if required).
- Provide excellent customer service and explain work carried out.
- Maintain workshop equipment, tools and work areas.
- Complete job cards and digital records accurately.
In addition we are looking for;
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points).
- Experienced in tyre fitting - preferable.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, motivated and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- A positive team player with a proactive approach.
Hours
- 44 hours per week
- Monday–Friday: 8.00am–5.00pm
- Saturday: 8.00am–12.00pm
