Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Hours of work are 8am to 12pm.
Responsibilities
- To unload and load containers and lorries of stock in a timely manner.
- Utilise the warehouse management system to track inventory levels and manage stock effectively.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring safe lifting techniques are employed during heavy lifting tasks.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, including loading and unloading goods from lorries.
- Engage in picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch.
- Maintain an organised and clean warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- help maintain house keeping standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Strong skills in materials handling, including heavy lifting capabilities.
- Ability to perform shipping and receiving tasks efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- A proactive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within a diverse workforce.
