An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Dove Centre for a qualified driver to join our small team. This is a full-time post, Monday- Friday, 8.45am – 4.15pm, with occasional earlier starts and additional hours required for holiday cover. A part-time position will be considered for the right candidate and is open to discussion at interview.
A D1 driving license and experience of driving minibuses or large vehicles is essential. MiDAS (Minibus Drivers Awareness Scheme) and first aid qualifications would be preferred although full training can be given. Due to insurance requirements applicants must be aged between 25 and 70. This role involves working with older people and people with various disabilities so experience would be preferred but again, full training will be given.
We need a compassionate individual who has an interest in our community and wants to contribute towards enhancing the lives of older people and other minority groups in which our transport makes a difference to their lives.
Salary is £13.45 per hour in line with the Scottish Living Wage, with pension contributions (if applicable) paid through workplace pension.
