Warehouse Operative
Location: Gorefield, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with overtime available during busy periods.
Salary: £26,500 to £28,000 per annum (£12.74 to £13.46 per hour), depending on experience, plus overtime.

The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in preparing customer orders, maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring our warehouse operates safely and efficiently. You will be joining a close knit team that works hard, supports one another and takes pride in delivering an excellent service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, cleaning and preparing customer orders to a high standard.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Receiving, checking and booking in incoming stock.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
- Carrying out stock counts and inventory checks.
- Operating warehouse equipment safely and following all Health and Safety procedures.
- Assisting with furniture refurbishment and preparation where required.
- Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties as needed.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with a positive attitude who enjoys being part of a hardworking team.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- The ability to safely lift and move furniture and stock.
- A forklift licence would be an advantage.
