The Red House is an independent country pub, restaurant and events venue entering an exciting new chapter. Our vision is to create one of Berkshire's leading countryside destinations, renowned for exceptional food, outstanding hospitality, memorable events and a warm village atmosphere.
We're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded General Manager who wants more than simply running a pub. Working closely with the Directors, you'll play a key role in bringing our vision to life, building an exceptional team, delivering outstanding hospitality and establishing The Red House as one of Berkshire's leading countryside dining destinations.
The Role
This is a genuine hands-on leadership role. You'll lead by example, build and develop a high-performing team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive commercial performance, grow the restaurant and events business, and ensure the business operates to the highest standards of licensing, food safety, health & safety and regulatory compliance.
We're Looking For
- Experienced hospitality manager with strong leadership skills.
- Experience developing private dining, functions, weddings, corporate events or other hospitality events would be advantageous.
- Passionate about customer service and team development.
- Hands-on, organised and proactive.
- Experience in a quality pub, gastro pub or restaurant.
