Mobile Installation and Service Engineer £32,000 – £34,000
An exciting opportunity to join our expanding team as a projects Installation and Service Engineer, installing, servicing and repairing blue chip products and commercial vehicle security and safety products. Our diverse range including high security locking, insurance specification alarm systems, air operated locking, air brake immobilisation devices, reversing cameras, CCTV systems and so on. The ideal candidate will have some experience in auto electrical systems but full training will be available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
As a Mobile Engineer you will undertake daily duties installing / fitting, servicing and repairing systems installed to commercial vehicle fleets. Starting from home each morning the position is a mobile one and you will be responsible for closing down each installation and service/repair record remotely using your Panasonic Toughbook Laptop. You will be required to liaise with the Service Desk Team throughout the day to keep them abreast of progress, to order parts and consumables and to resolve any on site issues.

The ideal candidate for Mobile Installation and Service Engineer will have experience working on auto electrical systems such as telematics, Canbus, Communications, CCTV, alarms, immobilisers etc
Responsibilities
As a Mobile Installation and Service Engineer you will undertake daily duties installing / fitting, servicing and repairing our security and safety systems installed to commercial vehicle fleets in your region. Starting from home each morning the position is a mobile one and you will be responsible for closing down each installation and service/repair record remotely using your Panasonic Toughbook Laptop. You will be required to liaise with the Service Desk Team throughout the day to keep them abreast of progress, to order parts and consumables and to resolve any on site issues. Once trained, you will join the regional on call rota attracting extra payments for both being on standby and also any individual call out.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Equivalent in Auto Electrical and Mobile Electrical Principles
- Auto electrical experience
- Experience working with Heavy Goods Vehicles ( HGV ) / Commercial Vehicles
