About Us
We are a friendly, family-run garage based on Heralds Way, Coventry, and we are looking for an experienced and reliable Mechanic to join our team.

The Role
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out routine servicing, inspections and repairs
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
- Working on brakes, suspension, engines, transmissions and other vehicle systems
- Replacing worn or damaged parts
- Carrying out MOT-related repairs and preparation
- Keeping accurate records of work completed
- Working efficiently to complete repairs within agreed timescales
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment
- Advising customers and the team on required repairs and preventative maintenance
- Following all relevant health, safety and industry standards
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience working as a Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems
- Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience using diagnostic equipment
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A reliable, hardworking and professional attitude
- Good communication and customer-service skills
Relevant qualifications are preferred but experience and practical ability are equally important.
