Part-Time Poultry / Farm Worker
We are looking for a reliable and practical Part-Time Poultry / Farm Worker to join our team on an ongoing basis.
This is a varied, hands-on role within our poultry operation and would suit someone who enjoys practical work, is dependable and is willing to learn. Previous poultry or farm experience is not required, as full training will be provided.
The role will typically involve around 12–20 hours per week, including a mixture of weekday and weekend work. Additional hours may be available during busier periods.
The Role
Your duties will include:
- Providing a high standard of care and welfare for our hens
- Egg collection and packing
- General poultry and farm duties
- Keeping work areas, poultry areas and equipment clean and tidy
- Assisting with basic maintenance and practical jobs around the site
- Moving pallets using pallet trucks and other appropriate equipment
- Following safe working practices at all times
- Maintaining high standards of site and personal biosecurity
Training will be provided for the tasks and equipment involved.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:

- Practical and comfortable with hands-on work
- Confident, or willing to become confident, working around hens
- Able to work independently as well as part of a small team
- Willing to learn and follow instructions
- Positive, helpful and able to use their initiative
- Interested in maintaining high standards of animal welfare
- Happy to undertake a variety of tasks as required
Experience is not essential. We are much more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, good common sense and a willingness to learn.

Own transport is essential due to the location of the farm.
Due to our strict poultry biosecurity requirements, applicants must not keep or have regular contact with poultry or other avian species at home.
