Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations. Responsibilities
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling imperfections before painting or decorating
- Applying paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes with precision and care
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard within agreed timeframes
- Protecting surrounding areas by covering floors and furniture during work
- Maintaining tools and equipment in excellent condition
- Communicating effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during operations
Skills
- Proven experience in painting and decorating techniques
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Valid driving licence is desirable for travelling between sites
- Excellent colour perception and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From £140.00 per day
