Nursing Home Manager | Peebles, Scottish Borders
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursing Home Manager to lead our small, high-quality elderly nursing home in Peebles, Scottish Borders.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage a well-established 30-bed service with an excellent reputation among local services, the Care Inspectorate, and the wider community.
The Opportunity
As Nursing Home Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the home and ensuring the continued delivery of outstanding, person-centred care.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading on Care Inspectorate compliance, governance, quality assurance and continuous improvement from day one.
- Providing strong clinical and operational leadership to the care team.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and commissioners.
- Developing a positive culture where high-quality care, dignity and resident wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.
- Supporting and developing your team to achieve the highest possible standards of care.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and motivated leader who:
- Has experience as a Registered Manager within elderly and nursing care.
- Has successfully managed a nursing home or similar regulated care service.
- Holds a current NMC PIN and has strong clinical leadership experience.
- Has a thorough understanding of Care Inspectorate regulations and requirements.
- Is confident in developing, motivating and leading care teams.
- Demonstrates strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
