Shifts: Wednesday to Saturday
We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join a busy team in Bacup.
This is a hands-on role involving repetitive work and manual handling, working with foam and fibre to produce and stuff pillows.
Duties include:

Stuffing pillows with foam and fibre

Manual handling of materials

Repetitive production tasks

Working as part of a busy production team

Maintaining a clean and safe working area

Operate and set up stockinette knitting machines.

Adjust machine settings, yarn tension and production speeds.

Monitor the quality of finished stockinette.

Identify and resolve basic machine faults.

Replace needles, yarn and other machine components when required.

Carry out routine cleaning and basic machine maintenance.

Follow production specifications and health & safety procedures.

Maintain a clean and organised working area.

Work efficiently to meet production targets.

Demonstrate good attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.

Wednesday: 10:00am - 8:00pm

Thursday: 6:00am - 6:30pm

Friday: 6:00am - 6:30pm

Saturday: 6:00am - 11:30am
Pay: £12.71 per hour
This role would suit someone who is reliable, physically fit, comfortable with repetitive tasks and happy working with foam and fibre materials.
