Production Operatives – Full-Time Permanent Roles (Day & Evening Shifts)
We are seeking motivated and reliable Production Operatives to join our manufacturing team, producing high-quality steel lintels for the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking and dynamic business with a strong reputation for quality and innovation.
The Role
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for the manufacture of steel lintels, working as part of an experienced production team to meet quality and productivity targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a range of manufacturing machinery, including guillotines, saws, press brakes, and plasma cutters.
- Manufacture steel lintels in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
- Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Work to production schedules and complete daily workloads under the guidance of an experienced Team Leader.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures, including the use of PPE and safe manual handling practices.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices within a manufacturing setting.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing production requirements.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of work.
Shift Patterns Available
Day Shift
- Monday – Thursday: 5:45am – 1:45pm
- Friday: 5:45am – 1:15pm
Evening Shift
- Monday – Thursday: 1:30pm – 11:30pm
