You. The Standard | Luxury Skin & Aesthetics
This is not an entry-level role, and we are not looking for someone who simply holds a collection of short-course certificates.
At You. The Standard, our name reflects exactly what we expect from ourselves, our treatments and the professionals who represent us.
We are a luxury skin and aesthetics clinic built around expertise, exceptional standards and genuine client transformation. Our approach goes far beyond carrying out individual treatments. We assess, plan and create considered skin programmes designed to deliver meaningful, long-term results.
We are now looking for an experienced Advanced Skin Specialist to join our team.
This opportunity is ideally suited to an established practitioner who has already built a successful career in skin, understands the responsibility that comes with advanced treatments and is looking for a professional environment where their experience will be valued.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone with professional maturity, confidence and proven industry experience.
You should be comfortable consulting with discerning clients, discussing complex skin concerns and confidently recommending a treatment and homecare programme rather than simply performing whichever treatment a client initially asks for.
You will have a genuine passion for skin health and results, alongside a strong understanding of the science behind the treatments you deliver.
A minimum of five years' proven experience in microneedling is essential.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have invested in their education through recognised, regulated qualifications, rather than relying solely on short CPD courses.
Ideally, you will hold an Ofqual-regulated Level 4 or above qualification in skin rejuvenation or a relevant advanced skin discipline. Higher-level regulated qualifications are highly desirable.
YOUR ROLE
As part of You. The Standard, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive skin consultations and assessments, identifying concerns, contraindications and realistic treatment outcomes.
- Design bespoke, results-led skin programmes combining professional treatments, homecare and ongoing review.
- Deliver advanced treatments including microneedling, chemical peels, advanced facials and other skin rejuvenation modalities within your scope of practice.
- Educate clients rather than simply sell to them, helping them understand their skin and the rationale behind their treatment programme.
- Confidently recommend professional skincare and homecare to support and enhance clinical results.
- Build long-term relationships with clients through exceptional standards of care, discretion and communication.
- Maintain meticulous consultation notes, treatment records, photography and client documentation.
- Work to exemplary standards of hygiene, health and safety, professional conduct and client confidentiality.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and remain informed about advances in skin science, technologies and evidence-based practice.
- Contribute positively to a professional team where standards, client experience and reputation matter.
THE PERSON BEHIND THE PRACTITIONER
Technical ability matters, but so does how you carry yourself.
Our clients expect a luxury, knowledgeable and unhurried experience. We therefore need someone who is polished, personable and confident without being pushy; someone who can build trust with clients and communicate with authority while remaining warm and approachable.
You will understand that premium service is found in the details: how a client is welcomed, how thoroughly they are consulted, how a treatment is explained, how recommendations are made and how they are looked after beyond the treatment room.
We are looking for a career professional, not someone looking for somewhere to practise newly acquired skills.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should demonstrate:
✓ Minimum five years' professional microneedling experience
✓ Significant experience delivering advanced skin treatments
✓ Proven experience creating progressive client skin programmes
✓ Strong consultation and skin assessment skills
✓ Experience with chemical peeling and professional skincare
✓ Excellent spoken and written English
✓ Exceptional client care and communication
✓ A professional, polished and confident manner
✓ A strong understanding of hygiene, contraindications, consent and record keeping
An Ofqual-regulated Level 4 qualification or above in an appropriate skin/aesthetics discipline is strongly preferred.
Experience working with premium professional skincare brands and advanced technologies would be advantageous, although brand-specific training can be provided to the right practitioner.
WHY YOU. THE STANDARD?
We aren't interested in becoming another high-volume clinic competing on discounts and rushed appointments.
We are building something better.
You. The Standard is focused on expertise, education, luxury client experience and exceptional results. Our clinic works alongside our regulated training academy, creating an environment where education and professional development are part of the culture, not an afterthought.
You will be joining a business that values practitioners who have taken their career seriously and wants to give them an environment in which they can continue to grow.
If you have spent years developing your knowledge, refining your treatment skills and building the confidence that only genuine industry experience creates, we want to hear from you.
We are deliberately selective about who joins our team because our reputation is built on the standard of the people behind it.
Commission structure in place on top of basic wage.
You. The Standard.
