We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor to join a growing engineering company delivering mechanical installation projects across the Water, Process, Petrochemical and Industrial sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated supervisor who enjoys leading site teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard. The role involves nationwide travel, working closely with project managers, clients and subcontractors to oversee the successful delivery of mechanical installation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical installation projects from start to completion.
- Manage site labour, subcontractors and daily site activities.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications.
- Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping and site documentation.
- Coordinate materials, plant and equipment to keep projects running to programme.
- Liaise with project managers, clients and other contractors to ensure effective communication throughout the project.
- Monitor project progress and report any issues, delays or variations to the project team.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company procedures and environmental standards.
- Identify additional work opportunities and communicate them to the project management team.
- Support site teams by providing technical guidance and maintaining a positive working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience supervising mechanical installation projects.
- Previous fabrication / welding experience essential.
- Strong background in mechanical pipework, fabrication or process engineering.
- Experience working within the Water, Process, Petrochemical or related industrial sectors.
- Valid SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Installation or equivalent.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Willingness to travel and work on sites across the UK.

Pay: £25,420.00-£52,028.87 per year
Work Location: In person
