Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Labourer to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, horticulture, and construction, with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. Duties
- Assist with general landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilising
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems
- Support construction activities related to outdoor projects, including site preparation and groundwork
- Maintain tools and equipment ensuring they are in good working condition
- Assist with planting trees, shrubs, and flowers while adhering to horticultural best practices
- Perform routine garden care tasks such as weeding, mulching, and soil preparation
- Support team members in completing projects efficiently and safely
Requirements
- Previous experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge and proficiency in operating equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems is advantageous
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance procedures
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials when necessary
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
- A proactive attitude towards safety protocols and team collaboration
- Physical fitness suitable for manual labour tasks over extended periods
