Responsibilities
- Supervise all restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, bartending and customer service to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Lead and motivate team members across various roles such as cooks, servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences.
- Oversee food safety and hygiene standards by implementing proper food handling procedures and conducting regular safety audits.
- Manage inventory levels for food production supplies, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste through efficient stock control.
- Train new staff and provide ongoing coaching to develop skills in culinary techniques, food presentation, and customer service excellence.
- Monitor financial performance by controlling costs related to food production, labor, and supplies while maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to uphold the restaurant’s reputation for exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment with strong team management skills.
- Extensive restaurant experience with a solid understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and hygiene standards.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work culture.
- Experience in managing food production processes, including culinary experience in diverse cuisines or hotel settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with barista experience or bar operations is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and handle guest interactions professionally.
