Responsibilities
- Supervise daily food production activities, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Lead, motivate, and manage the kitchen team to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Oversee food preparation processes, including ingredient handling, cooking techniques, and portion control
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining environment
- Develop new menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating current culinary trends and customer preferences
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of orders
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage waste to optimize kitchen operations
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant setting
- Extensive food production and culinary experience with a strong foundation in cooking techniques
- Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead, train, and develop kitchen staff
- Solid background in food safety practices and sanitation standards
- Previous restaurant experience that highlights adaptability in a high-volume environment
- Knowledge of hospitality principles related to serving guests efficiently and courteously

Pay: £12.71-£19.87 per hour
