Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting a variety of exquisite pastries and desserts in accordance with our high standards of quality and presentation. Duties
- Prepare and produce a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods following established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the development of new pastry menus and seasonal offerings.
- Ensure all baked items meet quality, presentation, and safety standards at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pastry section, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes during service periods.
- Follow health & safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment.
- Support training of junior team members and provide guidance where necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production, food preparation, cooking, or baking within a professional kitchen environment.
- Strong culinary skills specialising in pastry arts, with a solid understanding of baking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Organised with excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines during busy service periods.

Pay: £16.00-£16.50 per hour
