Utopia Leisure is looking for hardworking, reliable, and enthusiastic people to join our marquee installation team for the busy events season.
We provide marquees and event infrastructure for weddings, festivals, corporate events, private parties, and outdoor celebrations across the region. This is a hands-on, outdoor role where no two days are the same.
Whether you already have experience in marquees, construction, events, rigging, or general labouring, or you're simply keen to learn a new trade, we'd like to hear from you.
The Role
As part of our marquee crew, you will assist with:
* Loading and unloading equipment
* Preparing marquees and event equipment
* Installing and dismantling marquees and temporary structures
* Assisting with flooring, lighting, furniture, and event infrastructure
* Working safely as part of a team on a variety of event sites
* Driving company vehicles where required (for those with a licence)
This is a seasonal position running throughout the busy event season, with opportunities for future work for the right candidates.

* Are flexible and understand that event work can involve varying start and finish times
Essential Requirements
* Ability to reliably get to our yard in Redbourn, Hertfordshire
* Good level of spoken English
* Willingness to work flexible hours throughout the season
* Reliable and punctual attitude
*Weekend availability
Desirable (But Not Essential)
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Previous marquee, events, scaffolding, construction, rigging, or labouring experience
Full training will be provided for the right candidates.
Working Hours
Due to the nature of the events industry, working hours can vary from day to day. Some days may be shorter, while others can be longer depending on the size of the event, location, and schedule.
Applicants should be comfortable with:
* Early starts when required
* Occasional longer days during busy periods
* Flexible working patterns
* Bank holiday work during peak season
