Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and common areas
- Use appropriate cleaning tools and chemicals safely and efficiently to achieve optimal results
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are consistently maintained
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to the relevant team members
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and lifting heavy objects
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
