Planet Dance® was established in 2005 and quickly became one of the UK's leading online Dancewear stores. Based in Batley, West Yorkshire, we have built a reputation for quality, range, value and service and we are dedicated to providing the very best in designer dancewear from across the Globe.
We are now looking for a Customer Service & Sales Supervisor to join our team, to oversee a small team and ensure the delivery of exemplary standards of customer service, sales and administration across all our in-store and online services.
Responsibilities include:
- To manage the day-to-day activities & workflow of the team.
- To coach, mentor and instruct the team, providing support as required.
- To ensure the effective handling of complex customer enquiries by phone and email.
- To oversee the management of key dance school accounts
- To provide a 'personal shopper' experience in-store
- To provide professional pointe shoe fittings (training will be given)
- To process customer returns and exchanges for in-store and on-line orders
- To merchandise all in-store displays
- Ability and willingness to multi-skill to support the wider team
The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service & sales, in additional to possessing first-class administration skills, to ably cover the wide range of tasks, within this varied and interesting position. An interest in dance would be an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given.
Strong people skills are essential, with experience in a supervisory role an advantage, with your organisational ability and high levels of accuracy shining through. Excellent communication skills in all forms are essential to ably process the full range of customer enquiries.
This position also provides the potential to work with other areas of the business, should you have the skills to support this, including our in-house workshop and garment printing. Thus, although not essential, please do let us know if you have any sewing skills or garment printing experience, as either of these would be an advantage.
The working hours for this role are 37 per week, Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00am to 5:30pm. The competitive salary for this role is negotiable, dependent upon experience.
