Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizza dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in the preparation of other menu items as required
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure perfect results
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times during food preparation and service
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Experience in meal preparation, especially pizza making, is highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Previous restaurant experience or serving background is advantageous but not essential
- Passion for culinary arts and delivering outstanding customer satisfaction
