Nursery Assistant - Level 2 or Level 3

Empowering Learning is recruiting qualified Nursery Assistants to support a large, well-established nursery in Spital.
This is an excellent opportunity for caring and enthusiastic early years professionals who want to support children's learning, development and emotional wellbeing within a busy nursery environment.
A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare, early years or nursery education is essential.
Key duties:
- Caring for and supporting children from infancy to preschool
- Delivering activities linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Promoting children's language, confidence and independence
- Supporting personal care and daily nursery routines
- Monitoring children's wellbeing and development
- Maintaining a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment
- Developing positive relationships with parents and colleagues
- Following safeguarding and health and safety procedures
Applicants must have:
- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 childcare or nursery qualification
- Previous experience supporting children aged 0-5
- A good understanding of the EYFS
- A warm, reliable and professional approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- An enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
- Suitable professional references
