Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Drainage Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be compitant in drain jetting, cctv surveys, confined space trained, use of basic hand tools & good knowledge of health & safety on sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity for hands-on work with a variety of tools and techniques in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, damages, or potential issues
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to clear and repair drains
- Perform unblocks using high pressure drain jetting
- Operate commercial vehicles safely to sites
- Apply mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and resolving complex drainage problems
- Follow safety protocols during all tasks, including the use of personal protective equipment
Qualifications
- Experience in drain jetting
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques effectively
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical diagrams
- Knowledge of drainage systems & water flow
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
