If this sounds like you, then…
You’ll…
- lead a team of Assessors who make students get the right exam access arrangements
- screen and assess students for exam access needs, liaising with schools and parents where need be
- keep up to date with changes to JCQ regulations and make sure they’re implemented
- manage student referrals and support teaching staff with exam arrangements
- delivering training and share your expertise with staff across the college
- Get involved in college life – whether it’s supporting open events, helping with invigilation, or simply being a friendly face around campus.
- Please note, this role is Exeter based but you will be supervising teams across the Exeter & North Devon Group
You’ll need to be…
- qualified with a Level 7 Assessor Award (this is essential)
- proactive, organised and methodical
- passionate about supporting students
- experienced at assessing students for exam access arrangements
- a great communicator with excellent IT skills
- thorough and meticulous, with a real eye for detail
- £2,000 retention payment (£1,000 payable at the end of year 1 and year 2). Must be employed in this role at Exeter College at the time of payment.
