Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services across various residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail.
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and specialised equipment to achieve desired effects.
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand specific requirements and deliver customised decorating solutions.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Manage time effectively to complete projects within scheduled deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and stored properly after use.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating or related fields.
- Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation between sites.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential for understanding project requirements and liaising with clients.
- Prior experience working on diverse projects, including residential, commercial, or industrial settings, is advantageous.
- Knowledge of colour matching, surface preparation techniques, and decorative finishes will be highly regarded.
