Salary: £12.81/hr (day shifts)
Contract: Minimum of 3 months, it will be reviewed after this time
About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and passionate Part-Time Residential Cook to join our team on an interim contract for a minimum of 3 months. You will play a vital role in preparing nutritious, balanced meals for individuals living in a residential care setting, ensuring high standards of food safety, quality, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present a variety of home-style meals tailored to residents' dietary needs

Plan menus that are balanced, nutritious, and appealing

Cater for individual dietary requirements (e.g. allergies, cultural, texture-modified diets)

Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness

Monitor food stock levels and assist with ordering supplies

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies

Work collaboratively with care staff to support residents' preferences and wellbeing

Provide a warm, friendly dining experience for residents
