The Futures Academy is focused on providing fairer futures for those Students needing to build their skills for progression. We are seeking passionate individuals that can develop the employability and wider skills of Students needing to undertake a Study Programmes at Entry Level and Level one . Applicants need to be keen to support students to raise their aspirations and support their development enabling them to access further study.
All Futures Academy students study core skills that cover English, Maths, Digital and Employability Skills. Students also have the unique opportunity to study either a specialist vocational pathway in one of our many vocational specialisms or alternatively study up to 3 blocks in different vocational specialisms offering a unique bespoke Study Programme for those needing support to decide upon their future career.
As a Programme Manager within the school, you will be teaching students on this unique skills-based Study Programme. We are keen to talk to candidates with experience of raising aspirations and supporting Students to overcome barriers they might have previously experienced in education.
You will also be working with the Head of School to drive student achievement and outcomes across the school whilst supporting the wider team to reach their own key performance indicators. The ideal candidate will be student-focused and have a good eye for detail around student data.
We are looking for someone who is keen to move the area forward, bringing innovative ideas and the drive to implement them.
