We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef with a strong work ethic and a consistently positive, can‑do attitude to support our high‑performance kitchen operation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical ability, disciplined standards, and the capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and service execution
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to maintain smooth, efficient operations
- Uphold strict standards of food quality, consistency, hygiene, and presentation
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, HACCP, and health & safety regulations
- Contribute to menu development, dish refinement, and operational improvements
- Maintain stock control, waste management, and kitchen organisation
- Lead by example with professionalism, reliability, and a positive approach to teamwork and service
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a busy, high‑volume restaurant
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of grilling, butchery, and modern cooking techniques
- Demonstrated ability to manage, train, and motivate a kitchen team
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
- Ability to maintain composure and performance under pressure
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering exceptional food
