As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the home, leading care staff, promoting high standards of care, and ensuring residents are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support care staff during each shift.
- Ensure residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
- Administer and oversee medication in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Complete care documentation accurately and promptly.
- Liaise effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
- Support the induction, supervision, and development of care staff.
- Promote safeguarding, health and safety, and infection prevention practices.
- Act as a positive role model and uphold the home's values.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working in a dementia care setting.
- Experience leading or supervising a team is desirable.
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A compassionate, reliable, and professional approach.
- Good understanding of safeguarding, medication management, and person-centred care.
