Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated CNC stone operator and fabricator to join our small team. You will operate CNC machinery to cut, shape, and fabricate stone materials with precision and efficiency. You will read technical drawings and work to precise measurements. You will have high standards and be a team player, as on occasion, you will be asked to help in other areas of the business.
Duties
- Set up and operate the CNC bridge saw (Breton) for cutting and shaping stone materials
- Use a manual floor saw, hand tools, power tools, and tooling equipment to perform grinding, polishing, and finishing tasks such as bullnose edging
- Perform milling operations on stone surfaces as needed
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files, to produce accurate fabrications
- Performing quality inspections on deliveries and finished products
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all fabrication activities and handle materials with care
- Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery in a stone or similar fabrication environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, tooling, and machine maintenance
- Skilled in using hand tools or power tools effectively
- Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting design files
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately
- Experience with stone fabrication
Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
