About us: We're a small, creative Wall Art & Greeting Cards business that has been selling online for years- and we've recently opened our very first retail space in Chester Market!
We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable part-time team member to help us run the shop, be part of our friendly team and join us on this exciting new chapter. This role could suit a student looking for consistent work in a creative, fun & relaxed retail environment- but we're open to anyone who's the right fit.
-Hours: 18–20 hours per week. This role operates on a rolling rota, so some weeks will include more weekday shifts and others more weekend shifts.
What you'll be doing:
- Welcoming and serving customers
- Operating the till and handling payments
- Keeping the shop tidy, stocked and visually appealing
- Framing prints
- Barcoding products
- Providing product information and recommendations to customers
We're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent customer service skills
- Is friendly, approachable and confident speaking to customers
- Shows initiative and has a strong work ethic
- Is reliable and punctual
- Is comfortable working independently
- Has an interest in homewares, art & design, or independent businesses (a bonus!)
- Would be open to taking product photos/videos and creating some fun content for us to use on socials during quieter periods (not essential but preferred)
