Transport Coordinator / Transport Administrator
Location: Moira
Salary: £30,000 – £37,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 11:00am – 8:00pm

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Transport Coordinator / Transport Administrator to join a busy and well-established transport company based in Moira.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, confident using computers, and able to communicate effectively with drivers and the wider transport team. You will play an important role in ensuring vehicles and drivers are organised and ready to go out on schedule each day.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicating with drivers and Customers throughout the day and dealing with any queries or issues that arise.
- Checking and managing the driver rota, ensuring shifts and routes are properly covered.
- Updating and maintaining transport records and information using computer systems.
- Monitoring the movement of vehicles and keeping the transport team updated.
- Liaising with drivers to ensure schedules are being followed.
- Identifying and resolving any issues that could affect the daily operation.
- Carrying out general transport administration and supporting the wider team where required.
- Ensuring information is recorded accurately and communicated clearly.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is confident using computers and transport/admin systems.
- Has excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Is comfortable speaking with drivers and managing day-to-day queries.
- Can remain calm and make decisions in a busy environment.
- Has a strong work ethic and a good backbone – someone who can take responsibility and isn't afraid to deal with problems.
- Is reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck in.
- Is keen to learn and develop within the transport industry.
- Can work independently while also being part of a wider team.
- Ideally has previous experience within transport, logistics, fleet, dispatch or administration, although this is not essential for the right person.
