Overview
Springfield Farm Pet Cremation are seeking a compassionate, professional individual to join our small team in providing the highest level of care to pets and their families.
Based on our family farm in Hazel Grove, Stockport, you will be required to undertake all aspects of the day to day running of our crematorium.
No experience is necessary as full training will be given, but a keen eye for detail, a willingness to learn and most importantly, a caring disposition are required to meet the high standards we have set and adhere to each day.
Responsibilities
- Collect deceased pets from and return their ashes to family homes and veterinary practices throughout the North West.
- Safely operate our vehicles on the farm and when out in public.
- Treat each and every pet that comes into our care as if they are your own - with respect and dignity.
- Provide caring support to grieving families in their homes or here at the farm.
- Take client calls to arrange their pets cremation and discuss their wishes.
- Prepare deceased pets for their cremation - Carefully taking Paw Prints and/or Fur Clippings.
- Prepare a pets ashes following their cremation, ready for their return journey home.
- Monitor and manage the cremations process.
Requirements
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience of commercial driving (Preferred)
Working Hours
- Thursday, Friday and Saturday - 9am to 5:30pm
- 24 hours minimum.
- Further additional hours will be available including some Sundays.
