We’re excited to be working with ONE Multi Academies Trust Ltd. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Marketing and Communications Assistant Apprentice to support the development and delivery of marketing, communications, content and events across the academy and wider Trust.

The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and organised individual interested in developing a career in marketing, digital content, social media and school communications. The role aligns with the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship, providing the opportunity to gain practical experience while contributing to real projects that support the academy, Trust and wider community.
As a Marketing and Communications Assistant Apprentice, you will support a range of activity, including social media, website content, photography, video, printed materials, campaigns, open days and events. You will help develop an engaging presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok, creating content that showcases academy life, achievements and events.
You will also support Principal and academy update videos, promotional campaigns and event coverage, as well as helping to plan and deliver academy and Trust events, including invitations, presentations, photography, filming, sound and AV.
Previous professional experience is not essential. We are looking for a creative, proactive and enthusiastic Marketing and Communications Assistant Apprentice who is willing to learn, has good communication skills and an interest in tools such as Canva, Photoshop/Adobe Creative Suite and video-editing software. Most importantly, you should have initiative, an eye for engaging content and a willingness to get involved in showcasing the positive things happening across the academy.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and implement online marketing campaigns to support the marketing team’s recruitment activity
Assist with the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns
Research, develop, and maintain knowledge of key marketing and advertising opportunities for targeting different audiences
Produce reports to evaluate the effectiveness of digital campaigns, website, and social media
Create e-newsletters and effective e-mail campaigns across all markets using CRM and databases
Help to co-ordinate the organisations’ presence across all social media, including content, editorial, and publishing

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm (30 min lunch). 37.5 hours, Term Time Plus 2 weeks.
Pay: Apprenticeship pay scale, £8 per hour for the first 12 months, followed by National Minimum Wage for your age.
Training to be provided: A nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification. Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard, 18 months plus up to 20 weeks for end-point assessment.
Future Prospects: This apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills and experience in marketing, social media, digital content and events within a busy school environment. There is potential for the successful apprentice to progress into a permanent role within the Academy or Trust, subject to performance, skills developed and suitable vacancies being available.
