Working Hours
You will work a permanent rolling rota of:
- 20:00 – 08:00 - Three shifts on, three shifts off
- This equates to an average of 42 hours per week.
About the Role
As a Night Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents feel safe, comfortable and well cared for throughout the night. You'll provide compassionate, person-centred care while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.
Working alongside an experienced Senior Care Assistant and supportive management team, you'll help ensure the home runs smoothly overnight and that every resident receives the highest standard of care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Supporting residents with their night-time routines and preparing for the day ahead
- Assisting with food, nutrition and hydration where required
- Offering emotional support and meaningful social interaction
- Accurately recording care provided and reporting any concerns promptly
- Helping to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment
- Working as part of a caring and professional team to deliver outstanding care
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for caring for others
- Is kind, compassionate and respectful
- Works well as part of a team while being able to use their own initiative
- Has excellent communication skills
- Is reliable, positive and committed to delivering exceptional care
- Is keen to learn and develop within the care sector
Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided. What matters most is your caring nature and your commitment to making a positive difference to the lives of our residents.
