We're currently looking for a talented Head Chef to lead our team at our very busy seafood restaurant.
For the the role of Head Chef at BeachHouse, you need to be hard-working and exceptionally passionate about what we do. We are looking for someone who is instinctively service inspired and doesn't compromise for an easy life, always striving to encourage the highest standards in others. We'd expect you to have run shifts in a busy, high turnover restaurant with enthusiasm whilst coaching and motivating staff.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £48,000 per annum
Experience: kitchen management: 3 years (Preferred). The successful Head Chef will have proven track record of running professional kitchens with a strong ability to manage and maintain GP’s whilst maintaining a high morale with the kitchen brigade. Furthermore, you will working closely with the owner on menu decisions to keep on producing the highly received food.
As the Head Chef you will expected to manage the entirety of the kitchen whilst keeping cool and calm temperament as well as supervising your team of chefs whilst utilising your skill set to maximise their efficiency of work. Moreover, you will be working closely with management to maintain the consistent level of service. You need to be confident with working within an open-kitchen environment and be smart and presentable.

Your role as Head Chef
Costing out dishes/menus.
Training staff.
Organising rotas.
Ordering stock.
Stock control.
Ensure all kitchen procedures relating to Food Hygiene, routine cleaning and Health & Safety are maintained.
Liaising with management.
Keeping within GP limits.
Supervising junior staff.
Preparation of ingredients for menu.
Ability to delegate whilst motivating your team.
